Rob and I have had an eventful past couple of weeks. We spent time with friends and family, played some tennis, hit the Park City yard sales, and attended a Real Salt Lake Game. I was called as the 2nd counselor in the Relief Society and had to add plenty to an already hectic schedule with this new calling.
Rob and I were invited by friends to stay in their condo in Park City Friday night. After we enjoyed our time with them we drove down to Salt Lake to visit my brother, Jonathan, for his birthday. He has been in a psychiatric hospital for the past few weeks. Jon has been suffering from Catatonic Depression and has needed several treatments of Electroshock Therapy. He has had 11 treatments so far, but hasn't shown much improvement. We brought Jon a gift, a Snuggie. He showed some interest in it which made me feel good. We knew he wanted a Snuggie for quite sometime and had been saving one for him. My parents were able to check him out of the hospital for a few hours to take him to a Hale Center Theater play. I'm sure he enjoyed being with family and getting out of the hospital even if it was only for a few hours.
Happy Birthday Jon. We hope you feel better soon!
