My Grandma Powell passed away December 29th, 2015 (around 11 p.m.) at 97 years of age. She was spending time with my uncle Reed's family on Christmas when she fell and fractured her pelvis. They took her to the ER where she was admitted. The next day they said she had a fever and pneumonia in both lungs. From Christmas to the 29th she was sedated a lot and quite anxious and confused. She did talk about her husband often and we think he may have been there waiting to escort her to the other side.
I'm sad to see her go. She was my last living grandparent and I enjoyed hearing her stories and visiting her. She was a very dynamic women and very interesting.
